How to become a Collaborative Partner

Who can become a Collaborative Partner?

Organizations, institutions and initiatives working in any area that will help elevate and achieve GPEC objectives and support the delivery of its collective priorities are eligible to join the Partnership.

Specifically, Collaborative Partner organizations, institutions and initiatives should have:

  • A vision/mission that supports the conservation of migratory species, ecological restoration, reducing threats to ecosystem degradation and/or conserving ecological connectivity;
    • Activities occurring at national, regional or global geographic scales;
    • Areas of work related to ecological connectivity conservation; and
    • Sufficient human, financial and technical capacity for directly or indirectly contributing to GPEC objectives.

What is the role of a Collaborative Partner?

Collaborative Partners, in line with their mandates and expertise, are responsible for executing or contributing to specific areas of work or projects agreed under the Partnership and play a crucial role in contributing to the tangible results of one or more of GPEC’s four core areas and their collective priorities. 

What are the benefits of being a Collaborative Partner?

The Partnership will help highlight Collaborative Partner’s ongoing and future projects on connectivity conservation, enhance the visibility and recognition of their achievements and assist in realising successful impacts.
